The President and Democratic Leaders Forgo the Truth

“My advice to Speaker Pelosi is to take an aspirin, and call the voters for her new prescription on November 3, 2010.”

It is ironic that the Progressives will try to implement Government Health Care on the Lord’s Day. They proceed at their own peril, no matter how the vote turns out, this will be their Waterloo. The American People have let them know loud and clear that they do not want the government to make a mess of their health care like they have done with Medicare, the Big Dig, Affordable Housing, Katrina, Welfare, Energy Independence, Education, Illegal Immigration. Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, Bailouts, etc. This health care bill will add to the deficit, raise our taxes, resulting in inferior care, and will lead to rationing.

The President and Democratic Leaders have not been truthful with us. This health care bill will not save us money. No government program has ever saved money. President Johnson said that Medicare would only cost 10 billion dollars the first year. It actually cost 110 billion dollars. You can take all government estimates and multiply them by a factor of ten. Then, you would have a more realistic projection. The congressmen who vote for this will be doing something unconstitutional. We have a Republic which must protect the rights of all Americans. It is a government that is representative and limited.

Our elected officials are not listening to the People, and they have grown government to the point of moral and financial bankruptcy. It is time to reject whatever they do, and to vote out anyone who casts an AYE (or ‘deems’ it passed) for this health rationing monstrosity. It is time to put our financial house in order, downsize the federal bureaucracy, lower taxes, and build up our manufacturing base. My advice to Speaker Pelosi is to take an aspirin, and call the voters for her new prescription on November 2, 2010.

Right on Earl! I really hope this bill doesn’t go through. I do not want the government invovled with my life or my healthcare..

  2. Dump Barney says:

This bill is not about Healthcare , just about who pays for it. The sad fact is that this bill will address the health of the Drug companies profits and not care for you. Real healthcare reform would include inexpensive non-drug therapies that work.
Earl, I wish you were already in Washington, we the people need more voices like yours.
